Climate:
Atlanta has an enviable climate. Its winters are mild and its summers are warm and sunny. The average temperature during the winter months is about 10 degrees Celsius although in January the temperatures can dip below freezing. The city occasionally experiences snow and the average annual snowfall is 1.5 inches. In the height of summer temperatures can reach 32 degrres Celsius and the city can become quite humid if there is no breeze in the air. Atlanta however, can sometimes be under the threat of thunder storms which are most common during the spring and summer months. The variable climate of Atlanta makes it a beautifyl city of visit no matter what time of the year it is. The city is home to a number of oak and Pine trees and is also famous for its peach trees, azaleas and magnolias which are planted in abundance throughout the city. The varied nature of Atlantas climate mean that the seasonal changes to the city's natural life are unmissable.
